Farbeam
Docs / Get started

Introduction

Farbeam is an on-chain data service. One Node process polls seven chains, stores large transfers in SQLite and serves the results as a public REST API at https://farbeamlabs.com/api/v1. The site you are reading calls the same API.

The product launched in this form on 2026-11-04 UTC. Treat it as early: the data is real, the limits are published, and the coverage is narrow on purpose.

#Design rules

  • Data only. Farbeam publishes data and methods. It does not rank tokens as good or bad, and it has no composite risk score.
  • Unknown is not a pass. When a source does not return a field, the matching check reads unknown. See token checks.
  • Limits are visible. The API returns min_stored_usd and retention_days with each transfer page, and the docs list what each poller misses.
  • No private data path. Each table on the site calls the same public endpoints you can call.

#What it does not do

Farbeam does not follow every token. The index reads a curated list of 3 to 5 tokens per chain. A transfer below $100,000 is not stored. Rows older than 7 days are deleted. Labels come from a small hand-curated set, and there is no clustering.

#Where to go next

  1. Follow the quickstart to make a call and receive a webhook.
  2. Read authentication and rate limits before you ship a client.
  3. Read transfers vs trades before you draw conclusions from a transfer row.
